Great phone my first BB and love it. Battery life is a little dissapointing but it does improve over time and what could you expect from a workhorse of a phone. If you need a phone for business look no further I am excited with this phone as i was with my Motorola 8800x if you are old enough to remember !

Ye well? this phone is very good to use as a vibrator.. its vibrating is very essential in my daily life.. i love putting it on the LOUD and LONG cas it feels really nicee..

Great phone, had an iPhone but swapped it for this and no regrets, should never of left balckberry, best productivity phone bar none, updates improve battery life a lot a def last longer than iPhone, don't get me wrong iPhone is a great phone but more fun that useful, this is useful :)

This is my 4th Blackberry and I am hugely dissappointed. It looks and feels great and the keyboard is unbeatable. However, it is completely unreliable. It regularly refuses to send txts, overheats and chews the battery and shuts down for no reason. The web browser is useless on accasion saying that it cannot find the server when other smartphones nearby are happily connected on Wifi. I switched networks at a cost to get this fone. Useless.

This is my second one of these phones, my first decided to stop working out of nowhere, but thankfully I got my second one free of charge! These phones are horrendus, truly just awful! They freeze constantly, and more times then not when I am typing a text message it will just start to reboot itself out of nowhere.
The camera is poor quality and the battery life lasts for about 23hours, 24 and a push but you do need to charge these phones overnight, which is not safe.
There are a few good features on this phone, like BBM or Facebook, but you do need to have the patience of a saint!

This is my 7th blackberry.My last phone was the BB 9700 truly a brilliant phone very fast. Excellent battery life.BB 9900 battery is shocking, Every time you use the apps the battery is gone.Very slow on the internet.The phone needs a reboot often.
My wife got a BB 8520 and her phone is faster than mine on social apps.
I would seriously advise any body from buying this particular phone.the BB 9700 series is brilliant.

I review smartphones for a living, but I also rely on using them. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is probably one of only a handful of smartphones on the market right now, that combine top-notch hardware, and very user-friendly stable software in a stylish packet.
The Bold 9900 is as fast as some dual-core Android devices I tried. Its new browser may not have full Flash support, but it outshines most other mobile browsers when your signal is not perfect. If you rely on the mobile web and email, but are often plagued by poor reception, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the phone for you.
Battery life is not as good as that of non-touch BBs, but considering the Bold's crisp, responsive and incredibly bright touchscreen, it's not bad. With heavy online activity I get a day and a half out of a full charge.
Music player and sound quality is great, too.
Video recording is excellent, photos are up there with some current 8 MegaPixlers :)

Everything wonderful except battery life

The battery life is no where near as per the specifications. I find that I have to charge the phone daily even though my phone usage is minimal. Maybe using it for Facebook and emails uses more batter life than I expected but the Blackberry 9000 (which was my last phone) had a much better battery life than this one. I'm not sure if it is faulty although my husband upgraded to the same phone and finds that any use of apps drains the battery very quickly.
I love the phone and the touch screen, the weight and look are fantastic. Just the battery to disappoint.

i've had 3 other blackberrys before this one, and this one is the best one yet...
its easy to us if u had a blackberry before...
the features are brill adding a touch screen was a brill idea now u have the best of both worlds....

This is my fifth Blackberry, I've tried samsung galaxy and iphone but keep coming back to BB.
This is the best one yet in my opinion, looks much better than previous bold the metal band gives it a more modern look and the phone is of a much more solid build.
Keyboard (which is why I like BB's) is absolutely brilliant, I can type with speed and accuracy, also now has touch screen which gives the best of both worlds. Only fault I have with this phone is the battery is not great, no comparison to previous bold to be honest, out from that I'm very happy!
