I love this phone! The size and screen quality is amazing, if it had a built in iPod it would be the ultimate phone as I don't like the google music player.
I have had a common software problem with this phone and was with out it for 2 weeks. It didn't recognise that it was charging. However the benefits far out weigh this annoyance.

As the title states, this phone is perfect. well almost perfect, if it had a 2000/2200 mah battery it would literally be perfect. beautiful screen, perfect size in the hand, nice and light. the ui is nice and smooth due to the dual core processor coupled with the gpu which processes the ui rather than the usual cpu ui rendering.
the super amoled hd screen is beautiful, 4.65" of bright vivid colours at 720p res.
iice cream sandwich is very user friendly, even compared to the relatively user friendly gingerbread.
i have been using ice cream sandwich for months on my previous phone, the nexus s and i thought it was nice on that but the dual core processor of the galaxy nexus really makes it so smooth, its a tangible difference.

anyway, this phone is great, if you plan on doing A LOT of web browsing or gaming you should bring your charger if you can or else buy the extended battery.
i usually get 4hrs screen on time and about 16-18hrs battery life but as you can see thats heavy use.
screen off overnight with wifi and all sync left on i lose 2% battery in 8.5 hrs which is very good in my opinion.

all in all a great phone for the average user and obviously a must have for any power user who wants to unlock the bootloader and load custom roms and kernels to really unleash the beast of a cpu and gpu.

battery life fell off a cliff

I've had the Nexus for 6 weeks now and up until 3 days ago was really enjoying it. Then the battery time fell off a cliff. After taking 4.5 hours to recharge I now only get 7 hours from it with practically no usage.
On this basis alone, with greatest regret, I cannot recomend this handset.

Awesome handset. So fast (even multi tasking), excellent graphics and camera. Ice Cream Sandwich has led to Android finally coming of age. So far no bugs to report.

moved from Apple Iphone 4 to try this out (after trying the Galaxy S2).
the plus side - great screen, ICS is very good
the negative - the battery will last only a day with a decent amount of usage.
it is much better than the S2 but when the Iphone 5 comes along (so long as it is good) - I will move back to Appl

Had a dilemma btwn Nexus and Sensation. Have them both, but must say despite "lower" specification (on paper) in real use is far mor better than any other smartphone. Battery last 2 days with above average usage. Usability is fantastic, screen (beautiful, thanks to highest resolution to date) response instant. Only bug I had was the "volume ghost", but update sorted it. Overall is a top end phone and would recommend it without any hessitation.

Great phone, light and very practical.
ICS is way better than IOS especially when it comes to customization.
Requires some time to get used to especially after owning an iPhone.
